About me
I come from a small town in Mexico, where I learned how to use oil pastels when I was 18. I made landscapes, mostly deserts, life took me in a different direction and I stopped making art. Fast forward, 5 years later I lost my right vision and I couldn't continue to do my hobbies that I had before, and suddenly I started painting again. I have been trying different techniques and testing different materials to paint with, and I finally found that I love Acrylic on canvas. I am fully self taught.
My inspiration
One of my favorite artists and inspirations is Oscar Claude Monet, an impressionist that loved to work with the light of colors. He was magnificent.
Some of my paintings represent events in my life that effected my soul or changed the course of my life. All the colors I choose for my painting are the ones that I love and make me feel happy and at peace. I also collect plants and I see the leaves in different colors, it's like they are surreal, animals have been a part of my life, in my childhood, I used to observe their movements, and their mood, imagining them in different colors.
My Dream
I could have never imagined that one day someone would have a piece of my art, I have sold my art all around the world, and every time someone likes or buys my art, I feel like I have touched that person in some way. My dream is to continue to paint and create beautiful paintings that can say something special to someone.
